The battle to represent TSA employees has commanded a growing share of NTEU’s resources, and a great deal of sacrifice from our union chapters.
It’s payback time. As National President, Eddie will follow through with his commitment to rebate a portion of your Chapter’s dues. The payment will be made in the next calendar year.
The amount is between 1½ percent to 3 percent of dues paid in, depending on the size of your Chapter.
How much is your Chapter’s rebate? You can receive an estimate through this easy process. If you will be a delegate to the NTEU National Convention in Seattle, Monday, August 8, through Thursday, August 11, 2011, fill out the Rebate Access Form on this page. You will receive a link and a password exclusively tailored for your Chapter.
The amount is our best estimate, based on your membership, and based on the current information that we have. We promise that your results will be a good ballpark figure of what you can expect.
What can you do with the rebate? That’s up to you. You can use it to build membership, to pay arbitration expenses, whatever your local leadership believes will best help your Chapter. You and your members need to be reminded that your leadership in Washington, DC appreciates your commitment to our common cause, and this is a step in the right direction. Thank you again.
